Downstream Finance is a local bookkeeping company based in Altoona, Iowa, dedicated to helping small businesses and individuals take control of their finances with clarity and confidence. Founded by two brothers with a shared passion for business and numbers, we bring energy, reliability, and a fresh perspective to the world of bookkeeping. 

Our team is made up of Cael Julander and Zach Julander, both students at the University of Iowa. Cael is currently a junior studying accounting, with a strong academic record and a practical approach to financial organization. Before transferring to Iowa, he attended Iowa Central where he played baseball and earned the Triton Excellence Award for his work in accounting courses. Zach, a senior at the University of Iowa, is studying Entrepreneurial Management. His business-minded outlook complements our accounting expertise, helping us serve clients with both precision and purpose. Before Iowa, Zach played golf at DMACC, where he built the drive and discipline he brings to every project.
